Oxford able. Wool fabric for rug hooking or penny rugs, applique, etc. 100% new wool, the base is a natural white wool overdyed with a deep dark blue. It is a very rich black-blue navy color. The second photo shows Oxford Blue full value and half value. It is a fat quarter, but a whole yard is available. The fat quarter is approximately 29" x 16", but may vary slightly as each type of wool shrinks slightly differently in the dyeing process. The dye process is an abrash and results in a mottled effect with light and dark areas to provide some "movement" in the solid hooked areas of a rug. A single quarter of this piece may vary in the mottled effect on the photo as the photo is only a section of the whole piece.

I dye mostly in small batches of 1 yard increments. Each piece is labeled with a name which can be replicated if you need more, albeit a different dye lot which may or may not have slight differences but it will blend with a previous piece.
